Strictly Come Dancing star Holly Valance, pregnant Amanda Holden and X Factor judges Kelly Rowland and Tulisa Contostavlos were among the stars bringing red carpet glitz to tonight's Cosmopolitan Women of the Year Awards.
Holly, who wowed the Strictly judges with a Swan Lake inspired American Smooth, was due to present an award with fellow contestant Alex Jones.
She tweeted: "Off to #COSMO Awards! Presenting with the gorgeous Alex Jones! Girls Night!! XXX"
There was plenty of girly glamour as famous women got dressed up for the ceremony at London's Banqueting House.
The sister of murdered teenager Milly Dowler was honoured tonight as one of fashion magazine Cosmopolitan's Women of the Year.
Gemma Dowler was regularly seen at her parents' side this year as they saw Milly's killer, Levi Bellfield, jailed for life for her murder in 2002.
She also took on a prominent role after it emerged her sister's mobile phone was hacked following her disappearance.
She was named Ultimate Family Girl at the awards ceremony at Banqueting House in central London.
She said: "Firstly I would like to thank Cosmo and the team for nominating me for this award.
"Although, so far, this has been the worse year of my life, Cosmo have given me something to look forward to.
"I can now begin to rebuild my life as a 25-year-old woman and draw a line under the traumatic past years I have had. This award marks the beginning of what I feel like is a new start for me.
"My friends and family have been fantastic - a real rock for me through all of the ups and downs.
"Hopefully now I can slowly begin to remember some of the good times that I had with my beautiful sister Milly and those memories will give me strength to carry on and enjoy my life."
Other awards saw X Factor judge Kelly named Ultimate TV Personality and Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery presented with the Ultimate Newcomer award.
The Ultimate Icon award went to Blondie singer Debbie Harry and was presented by Kylie Minogue.
Other real-life achievements that were recognised included the Editor's Choice award, which went to Lisa and Louise Hawker for their work in campaigning for justice for their sister, Lindsey, who was murdered in Japan in 2007.
The magazine's editor Louise Court said: "It always amazes me to hear the stories of these extraordinary individuals - we receive so many remarkable nominations for the real life awards, and this year we really feel that the lives and stories of our winners are exceptional."
