Justin Bieber presented his girlfriend with a stunning piece of diamond jewellery ahead of the MTV Europe Music Awards in Belfast last night.
Before you jump to any conclusions though, the 17-year-old wasn’t asking the Texan star to marry him - he was simply giving his beloved a beautiful diamond bracelet as a gift.
The couple, who have been dating for just over a year, are often snapped looking the picture of happiness, and it seems that Justin simply wanted to show the 19-year-old how much she means to him.
"The bracelet was sent to Selena's dressing room for her to open before taking to the stage — they were inseparable all weekend,” a source told The Sun.
The gift was also possibly designed to cheer the Disney star up, after a fan of Justin’s recently claimed he had fathered her three-month-old baby.
Mariah Yeater, 20, made the claims last week, claiming she and Justin had conceived the child after an alleged 30 second tryst, following one of his concerts, on October 25 2010.
However Justin is now reportedly planning to take a DNA test to prove that he is not the father of Tristyn Anthony Markhouse Yeater.
The Baby singer has also spoken out to insist that he has never even met Mariah before, and that the stories are totally false.
Meanwhile Selena looked totally at ease as she presented the MTV VMAs last night – despite the fact she was being watched by 1.2 billion viewers around the world. Justin, who shot to fame at just 15, lifted the Best Male award.
