Justin Bieber up to old tricks: helping others, doing good

He's done it before and he'll do it again and on Jan. 17 we learn that he's doing it now. Justin Bieber, the Canadian teenage superstar, has again done something to help others.

This time Bieber has donated not much more than his time and autograph. While back home over Christmas he was asked by a car dealership to autograph a car, a fire engine red 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0 Turbo. He was asked to do so by Frank Sandola, the owner of Stratford Hyundai.
Justin Bieber: Signs car for good cause

The Toronto Star reported that Sandola said he'd sold a car to Bieber's grandmother a few months before and got the idea to get Bieber to sign a car to be auctioned off for a local good cause.

Bieber got to pick where the money would go and he decided he wanted it to go to refurbishing a local popular skate park that needs upgrading badly. The car, retailing at about $35,000, was donated to the cause by Sandola and will go on eBay for auction on Jan. 20, 2012.

The 17-year-old has auctioned off other items for good causes, including a pair of his old running shoes, a lock of hair and last November he auctioned off his pet boa constrictor named Johnson. The money went to 'Pencils for Promise', a charity which builds school and provides school supplies for countries in need.
