On the Jan. 9 episode of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, Kim Kardashian confessed to mom Kris Jenner that she was having doubts about her marriage to Kris Humphries, a scene supposedly taped in October, shortly before the divorce was announced. But damning photos suggest that the exchange between Kim and her mom — in which Kim explains that "there's something in my relationship that I just feel like isn't right," and that "married life just isn't what I thought it would be with him" — was actually taped months after the divorce.
Kris Humphries has been calling the show "fake" since he and Kim separated — even going so far as to cite "fraud" among the reasons he wants his marriage to Kim annulled — but there hasn't been proof to substantiate those claims, at least until now. Several bloggers got suspicious after noticing that all the windows are blacked out in the car in which Kim and Kris Jenner are traveling, supposedly in Dubai in mid-October, and compared the outfits and styling of Kim and Kris to paparazzi photos snapped of the two leaving a studio in Los Angeles on December 6. In those pictures (at left), Kim's outfit, hair, and makeup are identical to how she is shown in the Dubai footage, allegedly taken two months earlier.
And though, in that same series of photographs, Kris Jenner is wearing a different outfit than she is in the aired scene, it's clear that she is wearing the same pair of hoop earrings, while her assistant trails behind her carrying the purple tunic that she is wearing in the Dubai footage, which — again — was supposedly taped in October.
Is this proof that Kim's confession to her mom was staged? Reality Tea has a side-by-side comparison that's hard to argue with. If this doesn't prove that the conversation was faked, it means that Kim Kardashian wore the exact same outfit twice — and that, more than anything, seriously strains plausibility.
